Russian Great Danes Project is an independent web portal about Great Danes in Russia and CIS. The main task is to collect and systematize information about the Great Dane breed in our country.

We would like Dane lovers refer to this web pages, especially if they get questions. That is why we put a great effort to collect not just statistics data (dogs and pedigrees, clubs, kennels, dog shows, links to related sites, etc.) but articles about the breed also.

By means of our web portal you may find any item about breed you are interested in, such as contact information of clubs and kennels, dog show reports, stud dogs, mates, puppies and many other things.

How do we gather information?

The great majority of pictures and pedigrees just as other information are represented by the dog owners kindly. Also we collect everything related to Great Danes from other sources: books, magazines, web sites, dog show catalogues.

We intend to make search about Great Danes simple and easy. Once we get and systemize information we present it to those who cares about Great Danes, amateurs or professionals.

Rules for posting dogs in directories

In our Dane directory Danes are presented by color and you may post any dog with pedigree FOR FREE if you provide minimum information and a picture.

Make sure you mention following information for color directory:

• your Dane photo
• your Dane color
• your Dane date of birth

In controversial cases web portal administrator keeps the right to refuse publish profile if a copy of pedigree was not presented.

The other Dane profiles which do not meet the minimum demands are being posted in general directory where dogs without photos are included.

Deceased dogs may be posted In Memory section ONLY if you give information about date of death (date of birth: dd\mm\yy – year of death)

Deceased dogs without date of death are not shown in any catalogues but can be found as a search results or in memorial lists for kennels or clubs.

Complains regarding terms of free application is NOT TAKEN!

Puppies younger than a year can be posted at the discretion of the site owner.

Well-known Great Danes often meets in pedigrees of Russian dogs are welcome to add in our pages.

Rules for updating dog profiles in directories

Web administrator does free updates not often than one time in six month for each dog.

In order to make update, please, send pictures and information to e-mails: admin@bigdogs.ru or jeinik@bk.ru

You may post up to 11 photos for free – one main photo and ten extra for photo gallery.

If you update titles of your dog, please, send full updated title list where all titles posted earlier will be changed. A request to add 2xCAC and BOB is not going to be made.

Complains regarding terms of updating free application is NOT TAKEN!

For a small pay you may get extra services, from temporary access to edit profile of your dog/kennel/club to fully advertised section at GreatDane.Ru wich consist of advertising block, personal page with subsection for articals and news, banner headlines.
